Blogging

A blog is a publication on a persons web thoughts. A blog is usually about what is happening in a persons life on the the site. ‘A weblog is a hierarchy of text, images, media objects and data, arranged chronologically, that can be viewed in an HTML browser.‘From “Web log.” A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is “blogging” and someone who keeps a blog is a blogger.

Web 2.0

Web 2.0 refers to a preceived generation of web based communties such as social working. Web 2.0 allow users to do more than just retrieve information. Users can own the data on a Web 2.0 site and have control over that data! Web2.0 allows people to find information online.Web 2.0 includes open communication with an emphasis on Web-based communities of users, and more open sharing of information. Over time Web 2.0 has been used more as a marketing term than a computer-science-based term. Blogs, wikis, and Web services are all seen as components of Web 2.0.
