My Evaluation

For my it project I presented Iphones. The presentation went just to plan. The thing I was really proud to show was the actual Iphone, Latifa an I showed it off and showed the class what everything represented. As we did have many good things about our presentation, we also had our weaknesses. One of the things that did go wrong was our inspiration mind map. We had a lot of trouble transporting it from inspiration to our blog however in the end we managed to accomplish it.

Another one of our strengths was our voicethread. Both our voices were clear and we had lots of information and facts to share about the apple iphone.

The main focus was to explain how we thought the apple iphone could be used in class. We focused on geography class because an iphone has maps, satelite, GPS, internet etc. We had really good persuasions.

If there was something we could improve it would be the animoto because it was short and not all of our pictures fit in it.

I recomend this project to carry on for the grade 5's to do because it teaches so much. It is also really enjoyable and people get to show the class what they think about their particullar piece of technology.

After 1 whole month of working on our project, we finally finished. Latifa and I both really enjoyed it and learnt loads about the apple iPhone. First we chose are topic, "iphones", secondly we looked for pictures on google to insert them on our animoto and voice thread. We began to create our animoto and put in a song "Wonderful World". We then made our voice thread which was a more complicated process. We inserted recordings for each slide. Overall I personally really enjoyed this project!

Aoife: The Iphone is Apple's first Internet-enabled Smart phone. It combines the features of a mobile phone, wireless Internet and iPod into one package.

Latifa: The Iphone is very popular through out the world. They are even spoken of in the smallest countries as they are advertises everywhere

Latifa: As they are very expensive, over 2000QR it is important they are kept scratch less. These covers protect them from damage.

Aoife: All these little pieces are put together to create the Iphone

Aoife: There are many benefits from the Iphone such as, calculators, GPS, satellites, Internet, music etc.

Latifa: There are many different colours and designs that make iphones look nice.

Latifa: Iphones can also be used in school, Geography is our focus and this picture shows a map of France.

Aoife: Iphone also has precise maps so you can locate yourself. Navigation programs, so you can find out where you need to be going, how high above water level you are climate, humidity level, earth facts and Internet.


Aoife: It even alerts you when you receive messages, emails and phone calls

Latifa: This is a useful picture that indicates what each icon represents. You could use the calculator in math’s class, maps in geography class, notes for remembrance and the Internet for almost anything you want to know.

Personally i think the apple iPhone is one of apples greatest creations. There are many benefits from this Internet en-abled technology. As it can be used for almost anything, it can also be used in a classroom. I am going to focus on an iPhone being used in a geography class, and why. It has precise maps so you can locate yourself. Navigation programmes, so you can find out where you need to be going, how high above water level you are, climate, humidity level, earth facts and Internet. These are only some of the installations this apple iPhone owns, and they can all help people of all ages in a geography class. This is why an iPhone should be considered in a geography class.

How Can I Use iGoogle to suPport My LearNing

iGoogle is a very clever site for people of all ages.I never knew you can learn so much stuff from just one website! It can help you with geography because of the maps, Maths because of the sudoku, and then there are games for fun. You can set reminders and due dates for projects. I have many friends all corners of the globe but i am going to focus on my friends in Qatar Academy today. I couldn't choose a best friend because i like them all the same. I have Maria, Alia, Rebecca, Alex and Elorie. I like them all for different reasons but we are all like one group. I am happy to have many friends and i hope they are happy they have me too. I like Alia because she is nice, funny and really fun to be around same with Maria. Alexandra, Rebecca and Elorie are not in our class though(I wish they were though)..... FRIENDZ!!! :):)

I LOve TeChNolOGy

I love technology, I have an IPod, PSP, PS2, game boy, computer and all that stuff. Without technology life would be boring because now er days we all use it so much, I don't think we could handle life without it. Without technology everything would change and things would go worse! Accidents would happen because of no weather reports, no one would know what was happening worldwide because there would be no news channels. Everything would be a disaster. There is a good side to technology though! Most people now just stay inside all day playing on the computer and don't get any exercise at all, if there was no technology people would do more physical things. However all in all i would rather have technology to have a safer, balanced life. I am glad we have it in this world!
